Lessons
To improve at west coast swing quickly and efficiently, we feel that dancers should take weekly group
lessons and private lessons at least monthly. Group lessons are great for practice and social interaction,
so one has friends at the dances. To improve dramatically, private lessons are essential. In the private lesson
environment, the teacher can approach and work on exactly what the student needs in particular, without the awkwardness of
singling someone out in a group setting. Also, in a private lesson, there is much more hands-on with the teacher, so the student
can get a "feel" for what the dance timing and connection is.
Paul and Melinda's intermediate west coast swing group lessons are held 8PM to 9PM every Saturday.

Melinda and Paul also teach private lessons. On Tuesday evening we teach four private lesson
hours at our home studio 6,7,8,&9PM. $50 per hour with Paul; $50 per hour with Melinda, $75 per hour for both of
us (your best value if you share the lesson with a partner).

week. Like the enthusiasm and material. Hope to make it to one of your Sat dances but

BTW: meant to say thanks for our
Sat pm dances. Last Sat was particularly fun, and they always are. Great music. Special learning(OMG Routine). Recognition
of teachers and guests etc-lots of positive energy. I really appreciate what you and Melinda have started and continue to

Your music selection is excellent.
And.... Of all the places I dance, I am absolutely floored
by the quality of sound you get from your system. It's pristine! It really is quite the best. Not Loud. Just full and
elegant. Other's come close - but no one compares.

really enjoyed the dance Saturday and got to dance with a couple of my most favorite dancers. The lesson was great and I enjoyed
working on the lunge!

I'm happy to hear you and Melinda are teaching
privates at your home. It's about time! I'd really like to take a private with you to work on some "tricks" that
are often led by our Seattle leads - dips with slides, free ride positions for the follows, etc. ...... I'd
